Our littlest Grand Slam champion seems to be giving mom a little trouble again, and this time, it’s with bathtime.

Serena Williams tweeted she’s struggling to get baby Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr to cooperate at bathtime, and when she tried to put her pajamas on, “she was flipping like a fish fresh out of water.”
She jokingly says, “If this was an Olympic sport she would have gotten the Gold and I would not even place. There’s got to be an easier way.”
Last night after bath time with Olympia I had to put on her PJ’s We wrestled for 20 mins. She was flipping like a fish fresh out of water. If this was a Olympic sport she would have gotten the Gold and me I would not even place. There’s got to be an easier way. #BeingSerena @HBO— Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) May 9, 2018
Well, hate to break it to you, Serena, but there is no hard-and-fast rule, nor is there a step-by-step guide. We’re all pretty much winging it. But you know you can always count on the internet to either share in your pain and make you feel a little less alone or offer words of advice that might be pretty useful.

Nope, we have a fish at our house too! pic.twitter.com/c7EQvhoczZ— michael hearn (@hearn22) May 9, 2018
Something like this, yes the struggle is real. pic.twitter.com/xmid8eC51p— Bronwyn Robinson ?? (@bronnyrobbo) May 10, 2018

Sign her ?? early for the Olympics ??????????.— Paulette chatman (@Paulettechatma2) May 9, 2018
Songs and games to do the trick
Busy Olympia's hands w/clothes, socks, bib to "help" mommy so she thinks she's helping dress herself! **Hint: She'll think she's doin all the work lol— SNL (@snwann) May 10, 2018
Try singing Old MacDonald farm and for her to make the noises. Distraction!!— Julie Bagley (@Jsbagley) May 10, 2018
Let her play on a towel/rug in a warm room until she's dry then dress her in a onesie :)— Jane Gruppalli (@janegruppalli) May 9, 2018
Try giving her something special to play with during this routine that she only will see during diaper or clothing changes, such as a different rattle or stuffed animal, a soft book, etc. She'll attend to the special item instead of what you are doing!!— Tiffany (@TiffanyTMB) May 9, 2018
In another couple of months, she’ll be able to participate more in the dressing process. In the meantime, sleep sacks are genius.— (((Liz Ditz))) (@lizditz) May 9, 2018
Make up your own PJ Game - where's your hand, where's your foot, etc. As you "find" them, into the PJs they go (help her learn her body parts & lang devlpmt too)— WhatTheFlock? (@DirtyOldBroad) May 9, 2018
If all else fails, just surrender until she's old enough to dress herself
No easy way to do that. Sometimes singing the ABC works, but sometimes I just give up and let them run around naked ??— Duhhrenn (@ItzDreezy) May 9, 2018
