Nicki Minaj has confirmed her first child is a baby boy, two weeks after giving birth.

Posting on Instagram to thank all her showbiz pals who sent her well wishes, Minaj made the announcement.

"Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me," the new mom said, adding how grateful she is since meeting her "liddo boy".

"I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favourite liddo boy in the whole wide world," she gushed about her newborn.
