Children are fast becoming internet wizards — and since we've already shown you how to make YouTube viewing safer for your kids, why not take advantage of the endless free content?

From numbers and letters, to outer space and maths, we've put together a list of kid-friendly channels to enjoy with your little ones.

Pinkfong! Kids' Songs & Stories

For engaging and instructive songs kids can both learn from and jam to, check out the Pinkfong! Kids' Songs & Stories channel.

The channel features songs that make learning the alphabet and numbers simple and exciting.

Marsha and The Bear

Marsha and The Bear features the cute yet mischevous Marsha—who somehow lives in a forest —and her caretaker The Bear, who works tirelessly to keep Marsha out of trouble.

The show is big on promoting kindness and creativity and the comedy is suitable for adults and kids alike.

Sesame Studios

Created by the Sesame Street team, Sesame Studios is the YouTube version of the much beloved TV programme, and features shows like Arts & Crafts with Crafty Carol, Miss Brushes Art Academy and The Feelingwells.

The StoryBots channel is as entertaining as it is educational, featuring videos teaching literacy, maths, science, and history. The comical shows are great for adults too.

Peppa Pig

Peppa Pig lives with her parents and baby brother, George. It's the sweetest show for animal loving children, with each episode featuring different animal characters.

National Geographic Kids

Every bit as informative as the adult version, National Geographic Kids is a dream channel for children who want to know about the world, with interesting facts about animals, people and places.

Nick Jr.

If your kids are fans of Nickelodeon shows like Blaze and the Monster Machines, PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, and Team Umizoomi, then they’ll really love Nick Jr.

In addition to being able to watch full episodes of these popular kids’ shows, the channel also has games and age-appropriate music videos.

Toddler Fun Learning

The Toddler Fun Learning channel condenses detailed information about the world into age-appropriate and amusing videos for tots.

And with shows like Gecko's Garage, The Number Zoo and The Zorbits, the channel is especially ideal for kids who love cars, animals and outer space.
