Valentine’s Day is just two days away and we’re sure that between looking for a gift for your partner and trying to help the little ones think of something for their Valentines, you’re starting to dread the day of love.
But if you’re scrambling for last minute Valentine’s Day gifts for the kids to give their friends and punny little lines to drop on your partner, this DIY video is the perfect match for you.

What you’ll need:
- Empty matchboxes
- Wax wrap
- Parent24 printables (below)
- Gluestick
- Sweets
Tips and tricks:
The printables below have been measured to perfectly wrap around your 51mm x 36mm x 14mm matchbox, however, we’ve included an extra bit for the overlap. Start by sticking the front down so the overlap appears at the back of the box.
While we can’t exactly wash our matchbox out, we did line it with wax wrap to make sure our sweets remain clean and safe to eat.
You can fill your matchboxes with any sweets you want but make sure they’re small enough to fit into your box for your matchbox valentine!
