How to help a choking baby

accreditation

When you start your baby on solids, one of the things that you have to quickly learn the difference between is choking and gagging.

When your baby gags, they're moving food from the back of their mouths to the front. This is how they learn how to eat so don't panic too much when your baby gags.

When they choke, there is something blocking their airway and you need to act immediately!

Elle from What's Up Moms chats to Ty Vaughn from CPR Parties (because of course there is a thing in America called called CPR Parties!) and she shows us what to do when your child is choking and also gives a quick refresher on infant CPR.
