While a dog owner may do everything to prevent a dog attack, attacks still, sadly, happen.

So what can a parent, or nearby adult, do in such a situation?

Amanda van der Walt, a behaviour consultant and dog trainer at Canine Companion, says that if a child is being attacked, there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.
