US mom of four, Tiffany She'ree, better known as Dumpster Diving Mama on social media, has turned dumpster diving into a full-time job, making up to £2000 (R43316,80) a month.

She'ree says YouTube famous divers first inspired her to give it a try and, on her very first attempt, she came across costly make-up and skincare products.

After a few years, she decided to leave her permanent job in favour of cashing in trash can treasure and hasn't looked back.

The mom has also gained quite a following on TikTok, boasting 2 million followers interested in her finds, which includes smaller items like food and cosmetics to larger products like 3D printers and sewing machines.

She'ree says she began her diving exploits by visiting bins once a week but after seeing how much she could make she started doing daily 3-hour dives and sells her treasures at just 25% of their retail value.
