Serena Williams admits she doesn't quite have parenting down yet.

With Wimbledon fast approaching, 23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams, appeared on BBC Breakfast recently, discussing everything from tennis to parenting. “I never pass on words of wisdom because I feel like everyone, when they have a kid, especially when you just have a baby, it’s so difficult to just be.”

“Get through the first 3 months, 4 months, and then we can talk,” she commented.

Serena admitted that while Alexis Olympia will be two in December, she still doesn’t have the parenting thing down herself. “I’m a mess,” she jokes. But says her little one has certainly changed her life.

“Becoming a mom has changed my perspective on a lot of things. It also changed me... I want to leave a legacy. I want to be this positive person for my daughter. Everything I do, I want to do it for my daughter.”
