With egg donorship and surrogate motherhood banned in Germany, Johnny and Stefan went against all odds to make their dream of having their own children a reality. While chasing fatherhood, the pair traveled to the United States to make their dream possible.

Between keeping their company afloat, arranging visits with the surrogate mother and taking the wishes of the conservative grandparents into account, the beginning was tricky - but worth it.
