US mother, Kelsey Townsend delivered her daughter Lucy via C-section while in a medically induced coma due to severe Covid-19.

The mom of four was discharged after spending 75 days on life and lung support.

After the long battle, Townsend finally got to meet her daughter for the first time face to face nearly three months later.

"We instantly bonded when we met. She gave me a great big smile and looked at me like she knew exactly who I was and it made me feel so happy... Family is everything to me so I have everything to live for.... and coming home, there was no question that I wouldn't," she said in an interview.
