It's been a big week for celebs welcoming new life in 2020.

On the local front, TV personality Jo-Ann Strauss revealed that the new addition to the family is a girl.

She first shared baby news this past Mother's Day and recently took to Instagram for the gender reveal.

"Who runs the world? GIRLS! Well, in our household, definitely! Our newest family member joining later this year is a girl," she wrote to caption a beautiful picture of the glowing mom holding pink balloons and flowers.

Jo-Ann and husband Michael Held are already parents to three children.

'Love. Marriage. Baby carriage'

After a few less than subtle tweets about pregnancy symptoms and cravings, rapper Nicki Minaj put the rumours to rest this week sharing stunning images of her baby bump.

The baby is her first child with husband, Kenneth Petty. The pair married in 2019 and have been talking babies ever since.

"Love. Marriage. Baby carriage. Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes,"  she said, captioning one of the photos.

Here's a look at Minaj's series of pregnancy photos she posted to Instagram:
