Baby Jorgito spent the first month of his life under round-the-clock care when he was born not only three-months premature but also Covid-19 positive. 

Weighing just half a kilo when he was born, Jorgito contracted the virus through his mother who was suffering from coronavirus back in mid-June when the pandemic was at its peak in Peru.

Now, after months of recovery, Jorgito and his mother Lissy Yaya are due to be discharged from the hospital. 

"It's a miracle! It's miracle that we're together, that we can have contact as mother and child. For me, Jorgito is a symbol of love, hope and above all else faith," the overjoyed mom Lissy said.
