Blue Ivy, baby genius?

accreditation
Ever since her famous mom announced her pregnancy, celebrity fanatics have been desperate for updates about Blue Ivy. You’d hardly believe that she was born over 13 months ago, but that’s because Beyoncé and Jay-Z have kept her out of the spotlight, until last week: In an exclusive interview with chat show host Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé showed off her A-list baby, and gushed about Blue Ivy’s ability to ‘read’ flash cards, reports the Mail Online.

“She is hilarious and she is fire. Lord, am I going to have me a time,' Beyoncé told Oprah,
'She's very smart. She's already reading flashcards. She's beautiful.'

Introducing, Blue Ivy, child prodigy!

Since the interview, screen-grabbed pics have been surging all over social media as fans play the does-she-look-like-mom-or-dad game; we’ll reserve judgement on that, but Blue Ivy is one photogenic kid, that’s for sure. We’ve yet to see the proof of her mom’s claims about her advanced intellect, but, even if we never do, we’re confident that she’s had the best possible start to life.

The speculation continues...

There have even been stories doing the rounds that Beyoncé is possibly carrying a younger brother or sister for Blue, so we could be about to witness some more special times in this remarkable family.

What do you think about this flash card-reading phenomenon- can she really read, or is mom just WAY too excited?
