Elana and Ian welcome baby no. 2!

accreditation

While celebs were cooing over the horses at the met, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp and Ian Bredenkamp were cooing over the new addition to their brood!

In August 2016, the couple announced they were expecting their second child together. Elated about the news, both Ian and Elana tweeted about being 3½ months pregnant.

In his tweet, Ian mentioned their bundle was due to arrive in March 2017, but their little girl couldn't wait any longer and arrived two months earlier!

Elana even posted about the size of her baby at 34 weeks, just a day before she made her surprise grand entrance:

Little did they know their little one would try gate-crashing the Met they were meant to attend.

Regardless of her abrupt arrival and probably being a little "hangry" more often than not, Baby and Mommy are happy and healthy, and that's most important.

Parent24 would like to wish the Afrika-Bredenkamp family all the best! We can't wait to hear what her name is!
