When supermodel Gisele Bündchen shared a picture of herself on Instagram, she probably wasn’t expecting the debate it provoked: Not only is she breastfeeding her baby, but she’s also having her hair, nails and makeup done in preparation for a job. While some moms say it’s inspirational and a fantastic breastfeeding advocacy tool, others suggest that it’s just too “intimidating”.

While she clearly sees the benefits in breastfeeding, moms whose lives are not this glamorous are saying that it’s just not an accurate portrayal of what it’s like to be a working but breastfeeding mom. Still others accuse those moms of being jealous of her.
