WATCH: Weird unsolicited advice that new parents get

accreditation

The one thing you can depend on when you birth your first child is that people will be lining up to give you advice. Your mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, cousin, co-worker, stranger at the supermarket, single people without kids. Everyone.

You see when you're pregnant with your first child absolutely no amount of reading will prepare you for keeping a tiny human alive and happy and people know this.

Which is why they're only too happy to give you advice when you haven't asked for it. The best is when they dole it out while you're trying to figure out how breastfeeding works or being nervous that your child is okay in the wrap.

Buzzfeed did a hilarious video about all the weird kinds of advice that new parents get and that almost everyone is prone to turning into one of those people. Take a look below.

What's the worst or strangest advice you received as a new parent? Send us an email to chatback@parent24.com and we could publish it on the website.
