Dad turns baby into Elf on the Shelf

For those who don't already know, the Elf on the Shelf has become a popular icon in many family homes this Christmas. 

The small figurine is placed in various different locations each morning before the children wake up to look for him. Another feature is that the Elf of the Shelf report back to the North Pole every evening to tell Father Christmas whether or not the children have behaved that day (a great reinforcement for some parents).

The Elf on the Shelf has taken the Internet by storm this Christmas with regular Facebook pictures posted by parents and kids who caught the Elf doing various different things from rearranging picture frames to having pool parties with Barbie and her friends.

A dad-blogger from Utah decided to turn his four month old son into a human version of the Elf on the Shelf and the results are adorable:
