At just 18 months Joel Russell has already tottered around a mountain summit. 

The toddler enjoyed a day out with his dad Kyle who carried Joel up a 978m mountain in Scotland called, Beinn Dubh. 

"When he's in the carrier, he can see things, he loves it. He's the happiest wee guy and he loves spending time with me," Kyle said in an interview

According to the dad, who happens to be ranked the 17th fittest person in Scotland, Joel learned to walk when he turned one and used specially made walking poles when the duo summited Beinn Dubh.
