Last year The New York Times did a fantastic piece about "What Kids Around the World Eat for Breakfast". Let me just say that the little Japanese girl's face is my favourite because that is exactly how I feel in the mornings when eating breakfast.
When it comes to breakfast I am highly unimaginative veering toward the usual cereal, toast or eggs. It was quite interesting to see what kids around the world are eating. Some of them were quite yummy and others were quite eyebrow raising. Like the fact that Brazilians give their kids coffee at breakfast where I don't think I'd let my son touch caffeine till he's at least 12.
The guys over at Cut Video together with a chef from Kitchen Bowl replicated some of the dishes and presented it to American kids to try out.
Take a look at the video below to see their reactions:
In case you didn't see it, Cut Video also did this cringe-worthy video on "Parents talk to their kids about sex for the first time".
What do your kids have for breakfast? Would they try anything out of the ordinary?
