What happens when Bafana Bafana lose 5-0 to Brazil in South Africa? Magic, that’s what!

A little boy somehow made it onto the pitch during the soccer match between soccer giants Brazil and hosts South Africa and stole the hearts of the crowds (and the opposing team) in an endearing display of sportsmanship.

As officials managed to corral the child, Brazilian soccer star Neymar intervened. In an amazing show of friendliness, Neymar took the child to his teammates and posed for an unprecedented series of selfies and other pictures.

Neymar had just scored a hat trick in the match, so he was clearly in a generous mood with the stadium’s tiniest pitch invader.

So astounding was the interaction that the boy has unwittingly created an amusing international incident.
