Parenting advice from a mom

I'm a mother of four and a little angel in heaven. Although I may know some tricks I honestly feel every parent must find their own feet as parents and do exactly what they feel right in every given moment.
So my advice is: Every cloud has a silver lining.

Being a parent is the toughest job, no salary and almost no vacations or time off. It's a 24/7 job but it is so rewarding and sometimes we as parents often miss the greatest opportunities to recognize the silver line.

Society today has so many rules. Use bpa free bottles, use this dummy, these nappies, childproof your house this way, discipline your kids with these methods, make quality time like this. I say go sit on your dirty carpet with your baby and look deep into your baby's eyes and whisper softly: "I will make a lot of mistakes and you will get cross with me sometimes but just remember one thing, I love you with all my heart."
That's the bottom line and the silver line of parenting: LOVE.

I'm not the most organised mommy, I forget any and everything. My neighbours must think I'm a lunatic because I shout and fight almost the whole day but at night when I tuck my kids in, they know their parents love them NO MATTER WHAT.
