The dietician, who runs a private practice Thrive by Raia, is hoping to raise awareness around the fact that children younger than 12 are developing eating disorders at an alarming rate.

"It is important for parents and anyone who works with young children to recognise the signs. Physical and emotional growth is an important component of childhood, and eating disorders can cause significant damage to both."
