What is it which has gone so wrong?” These rhetorical but necessary questions were posed by Graca Machel while addressing a crowd of students at the University of Cape Town during a memorial service for slain student Uyinene Mrwetyana.

Hashtags like #NoToWomenAbuse #AmINext and #EnoughisEnough skyrocketed after South Africa learned of the murder of the student which quickly followed by news of a series of violent murders of women and children.
