Cake pops are great but have you heard of Oreo pops?
Well, it's like cake pops, actually, only better.
You take an Oreo, and instead of twisting, licking and dunking it into milk, you dip it into chocolate, sprinkles, and just about anything you want.
And as a baker, treat-eater and chocolate enthusiast, I am of the opinion that there really are few things in this world better than Oreos, but a chocolatey-er chocolatey Oreo?
GIMME!

Frozen Oreo Pops
Ingredients
- Oreos
- White chocolate
- Blue food colouring
- Snowflakes and pearls
- Lollipop sticks, kebab sticks or chopsticks

Tips and tricks
1. When adding your food colouring, be sure not to mix it through completely to get that perfect two-toned marble effect.
2. Dunking your Oreos can be rather tricky. We suggest using a fork so that the excess chocolate can fall through. This way you also avoid getting your hands all sticky
3. When allowing your Oreos to cool, we suggest placing it on grease-proof paper and placing it in the fridge, or even the freezer, to speed up the process. It would also be wise to do so after placing in your Oreo pop sticks.
4. You can get lollipop or cake pop sticks for your Oreo pops, but kebab sticks or chopsticks work just as well.
We recommend chopsticks as they aren't sharp, however, this could make putting it into your cookie and making sure it stays a little difficult.
We made a little hole with the chopstick, dunking the end in a bit of leftover chocolate and putting it into the Oreo.
To make sure it stays, put it back into the freezer or fridge to set.

Tips and tricks
1. Instead of using blue food colouring use yellow colouring and mix all the way through to dunk your Oreo
2. Use milk chocolate to pipe on a broad smile and red candy hearts for the eyes. You can also pipe the hearts on with red icing if you can't find candy hearts
3. You can make other emojis by sampling piping milk chocolate onto your emojis as well.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse Oreo Pops
Tips and tricks
To make Mickey and Minnie Mouse Oreo pops, use mini Oreos or chocolate buttons, as we did, for the ears. Stick them on either side with a little bit of excess chocolate and let them set in the freezer before dunking them.
1. Use milk instead of white chocolate to dunk them in.
2. After they're set, you're good to go after placing your lollipop, kebab stick or chopstick, before allowing it to set once more. To create a little Minnie Mouse for your Mickey, add a little ribbon or pipe on a ribbon with red or pink icing.
