International survey finds SA parents are set on raising empathetic children, but only 26% know how

In an international survey by Mattel, the company behind the classic toy Barbie, parents from 22 countries including South Africa admitted to being concerned about what impact lockdown would have on their children's social development.

The survey was conducted following a collaborative study by the doll company and neuroscientists from the UK-based Cardiff University.
