Date night at home

accreditation

When it comes to getting some special time with your man after baby, there’s nothing that stops the romance faster than having to organise a babysitter, pack the mite’s multitude of paraphernalia and pump a few feeds out.

After all that, who has the energy for a big night out? Rather go for no-stress sexy at home time with these three ideas.

That's amore

Order in some Italian from your prebaby favourite to bring the magic of Italy to you. Throw on a little something flirty, light a few candles and have an intimate dinner picnic in the lounge.

Sip a bit of chianti and whisper a few choice Italian phrases (learnt off the Internet during naptime) in his ear and he’ll bepazzo di te (crazy for you) in no time.

Spa-riffic

Stock up on aromatherapy candles and pretty pampering goodies to set up a mini spa at home. Start with a good soak in some luxurious bubbles and work your way up to a touchy-feely massage.

There’s nothing quite like touch to bring people together...

A matter of taste

Bring the senses to the fore with a taste test of your choice. Whether it’s wine, chocolate, or cheeses, this is guaranteed to get things going. For an extra bit of excitement, blindfold your partner before feeding him his testers.

Let him do the same for you, and then describe your likes, dislikes and preferences to each other to open those channels of communication up.

How do you keep the romance alive with your significant other? Would you try any of these sexy at home time date suggestions? Tell us by emailing to chatback@parent24.com and we could publish your letter. Do let us know if you'd like to stay anonymous.
