5 oddest conception stories

accreditation
Many parents have funny or unusual stories about the ways in which their children were conceived, but check out some of these, the oddest conception stories around:

The oral sex, no vagina pregnancy

A teen girl in Lesotho surprised doctors with her labour symptoms, especially since, upon examination, she had no vagina (a birth defect called Mullerian agenesis or Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome). It turns out, she had been giving her boyfriend oral sex, when her former lover caught them, and attacked her new boyfriend. In the process, she was stabbed in the abdomen- the knife had semen on it, and she conceived. Via ABC News.

Man fathers child through oral sex

A man was forced to pay child support after a DNA test confirmed he was the child’s father, despite his insistence that he’d never had penetrative sex with the baby’s mom, only oral sex. It turns out, the mom had saved his sperm in her mouth, and, despite sperm not surviving long outside the body, especially in the presence of saliva, she was still able to implant the sperm in her vagina and become pregnant. It does, after all, only take one sperm to survive… Via NBC news

World’s oldest mom

Rajo Devi Lohan became pregnant at the age of 70 after 50 years of attempting to conceive with her husband. IVF using the sperm from her 72-year-old husband made her dreams possible, although her health suffered following the pregnancy. Via ListServe

“3D porno movie made me pregnant”

A military husband returned from a tour of duty to discover his wife was pregnant, but she claimed the baby wasn’t the result of an affair, but rather the shockingly realistic aftermath of watching a 3D porn movie. She even claimed the baby looked like the actor in the movie. Her husband wasn’t entirely disbelieving, “The films in 3D are very real. With today’s technology, anything is possible,” he is reported to have said. Via Tech Eye

Baby delivered by stork

Wait… this isn’t an actual conception story, but simply an ancient legend, that a stork delivers a baby to the parents. It’s still a popular choice for parents unwilling to discuss the process of conception with children, and a variant of the “I found you in my beer at the pub” story.

There are many other curious conception tales out there, ranging from weird places kids were conceived, to children being conceived on the same day of the month as their own parents and grandparents (generations apart, obviously!)
