A school in South Africa has posted a funny compilation video of when their teachers’ online classes go horribly wrong during Covid-19 lockdown.

The St John’s Diocesan School for Girls in the city of Pietermaritzburg in the eastern South African province of KwaZulu-Natal shared the footage on Facebook where it has been viewed more than 300,000 times.

The video shows squirming teachers dealing with rampaging children, faulty equipment and flatulent pets.

In the footage, one teacher is seen being interrupted by her significant other while another is flattened by her unbalanced whiteboard.

Another scene shows a grumpy-looking teacher with a hot mug of coffee unaware that the camera is on, and another woman nearly chokes on an egg when she realises a student is still online.

In a scene similar to the infamous BBC interview when a South Korean politics expert was interrupted live on air by his two young children, a teacher’s online class is seen being gatecrashed by her children and partner.

The compilation video also shows teachers falling off chairs and excited cats, but perhaps the best scene is at the end when a woman’s pet breaks wind loudly and causes her to grimace and move her chair away.
