Thinking of attending college after your finish matric? It can be tough to choose where to go and then there's the matter of applying with the right paperwork, and on time.
To help with this, Parent24 has compiled a list of 50 top Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges across South Africa.
Application dates
The closing date for the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges is 30 November 2021 for the 2022 academic year.
Some of these TVET colleges are open throughout the year for specific programmes. Some programmes close sooner than others because of limited spaces.
But an enquiry to the college will help the students know which courses are still open for that academic year.
Bursaries
Some colleges welcome students supported by NSFAS and encourages students who qualify for NSFAS to apply.
Others instead offer competitive bursaries or a variety of student loans for the students who meet the requirements.
