School holidays are in full force and our wonderful editor, Scott is taking a well deserved break at home with the kids. So you have my face this week!

The winter holidays are a rather tricky one. Summer holidays are all about being outside in enjoying the wonderful weather and taking advantage of the festive vibe that everyone's caught. But the winter holidays are in the middle of the year, parents are still working, cash is as scarce as hens teeth and childcare for 3 weeks is rather expensive.

So parents need to come up with cheap and creative ways to keep their kids entertained while the rain pours down outside and the weather is generally miserable. We've rounded up some cheap and fun activities to keep the kids entertained during the holidays:
