Gigi Hadid recently opened up about giving birth to her 4-month-old daughter Khai in an interview with Vogue

For the first time, she shared what her labour was like, and revealed that she gave birth to the little one at home on a farm in Pennsylvania, USA.

The labour lasted 14 hours, and Gigi did it without an epidural.

"I had to dig deep," she told the mag.

"There was definitely a point where I was like, I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different," she said. "My midwife looked at me and was like, 'You're doing it. No one can help you. You're past the point of the epidural anyway, so you'd be pushing exactly the same way in a hospital bed.'"

Despite the intense experience, Gigi said it was all worth it in the end because her baby was "so bright right away".

"That's what I wanted for her, a peaceful bringing to the world."
