Top tips for morning sickness

The first trimester of pregnancy is often the most difficult. You're trying to keep it all under wraps till the 12 week mark when all will be safe but the exhaustion is getting to you and the morning sickness, oh, the dreaded all day sickness is overwhelming.

It can be a nightmare so we've asked our Facebook moms what their top tips for morning sickness were. Here's what they had to say:

Yes, anything dry also helped for me...biscuits, dry toast, crackers, etc. And also lemon water! - Cecilia Celliers

I tried everything and the only thing that really helped was changing my vitamins, I have 2 different brands that I alternate, I still get morning sickness every now and again and I am 29weeks I change my vitamins every month. - Ilke Mouton

Small regular meals and water! Don't starve yourself and then pig out when you do it! You'll feel ten times worse! - Nelia Smit

Rooibos tea without milk. Toast with little butter. Lettuce leaves with some salt. Water! That was the only "food" I could eat. - Cynobrey Jansen
