Shay Mitchell has revealed that she's apprehensive about getting pregnant for a second time, after struggling with prenatal depression before welcoming her first child, daughter Atlas.

Speaking in a recent interview, the former Pretty Little Liars actress shared that she desperately wants a sibling for her 16-month old little girl, but she's hesitant to go through pregnancy again as it took a serious toll on her mental health the first time around.

She further explained that although she liked a lot of things about being pregnant, she certainly wasn't a stereotypical happy beaming goddess.

At the time, she was only aware of the existence of postnatal depression, so when she was hit with symptoms while still expecting she was totally thrown off, noting that nobody talks about this fairly common issue.

Despite her fears, however, Mitchell says that she would still like to expand her family when the time is right.
