Famous teens and their parents

accreditation
Children of celebs always have one foot in the door with Hollywood. If they choose to, they can easily become stars in their own right. We take a look at some of Hollywood’s up and coming stars.

Miley Cyrus
Most famous of all at the moment must be Ms. Cyrus herself. Daughter of  Billy-Ray “Achy Breaky Heart” Cyrus. Miley legally adopted her stage name in 2008. She was born Destiny Hope Cyrus.

Rumer Willis
Daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, 21 year old Rumer is making a name of her own. With a cameo in her dad’s movie, Hostage she then landed a part in The House Bunny. She can be seen most recently in the remake of famous 90’s teen soap 90210.

Peaches Geldof
Her fullname is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof. Say that 5 times fast. Daughter of singer/activist Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Peaches has made a name for herself as a television presenter and model. She also took part in Britain’s Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

Jay Weinberg
Anyone who is a fan of The Late Show with Conan O’Brien show will know who Max Weinberg is. The drummer's son is making quite a name for himself. None other than Bruce Springsteen asked 18 year old Jay to step in for his dad at a recent concert. Expect big things.

Jesse Clegg
SA’s very own Johhny Clegg has also spawned a musical son.  21 year old Jesse is burning up SA’s airwaves with hits such as Girl lost in the City and Today. A contemporary and modern sound makes him appeal to SA’s youth.

Jaden Smith
Not yet a teen but almost there, 11 year old Jaden is the son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. He also first appeared alongside his dad in The Pursuit of Happyness and is starring in the remake of The Karate Kid, renamed The Kung Fu Kid alongside Jackie Chan.

Connor Cruise
The son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman got his first break playing the younger version of Will Smith’s character in Seven Pounds. He is currently filming Red Dawn with Jeffery Dean Morgan (Grey’s Anatomy’s Denny Duquette).

Do you think it's right that children of celebs have an easier time getting roles in Hollywood?
