With active commuting and gravel touring having become two of the strongest cycling tends since lockdown, riders want better ways of carrying their digital devices and personal effects.

A traditional backpack isn’t ideal cycling apparel. Backpacks create heat soak by constricting ventilation and dramatically increase a rider’s centre of gravity. This can be annoying when you are trying to decelerate, or round a corner with some posture of elegance.

Commuters and adventure riders have realised that travelling light is ideal, triggering meaningful demand for a new approach to cycling bags.
