For weekend warriors, logistics can be challenging when balancing family life and an event schedule.

With the race starting near Harrismith, midway between Gauteng and Durban, Berg & Bush is logistically easy for most mountain bikers outside the Western Cape. A three-hour drive from Johannesburg or Durban is easily doable.
