Panthers tackle Savages in Supa Mama Challenge

A GROUP of 18 Tongaat Panthers members took part in the Supa Mamas 21.1 and 10km Challenge, hosted by Savages Athletic club, held in Morningside in Durban recently.

The race started in bitterly cold weather with 2 000 participants lined up to compete.

Tancrey Frank took the Panthers team home in his personal best in 1.59 despite the hilly two lap course,while Rajen Pillay led the club 10km team in 1.08.

Members are reminded of the next leg of the Thinny’s League Challenge which will be held on Sunday, August 26.

Time trials will resume on Thursday, September 6.
