Wednesday's weather: Fine and warm day for most of SA

It will be a fine and cool to warm day for most parts of the country on Wednesday.

The weather as provided by the South African Weather Service:

Gauteng will be fine and warm.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Mpumalanga and Limpopo will experience morning fog patches on the escarpment, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and warm but hot.

The North West will be fine and warm.

It will be fine and warm in the Free State but cool in the east.

There will be frost over the interior of the Northern Cape at first, otherwise fine and warm but cool in the south.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly.

In the Western Cape it will be fine and cool but partly cloudy over the south-western parts with light rain in the morning.

It will become cloudy along the south coast by mid-morning.

The wind along the coast will be light northerly but strong westerly in the south at first. It will become moderate south-westerly in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

It will be fine and cool in the Eastern Cape, becoming cloudy from mid-morning to afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north- westerly in the western half, becoming fresh to strong south-westerly in the afternoon.

The wind along the eastern half of the coast will be fresh south-westerly, but strong in the south during the afternoon.

There will be morning fog over the interior of KwaZulu-Natal, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north.

Isolated showers are expected in the north coast and adjacent interior.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly from the south and spreading northwards by afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.
