Cape Town - Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday confirmed that the Proteas and West Indies will play an extra T20 match when the men from the Caribbean visit these shores next season.

The original two-game T20 series will now feature another match, to be played at Kingsmead in Durban on January 14.

“We are grateful to the West indies for agreeing to a T20 series of three matches,” said CSA CEO Haroon Lorgat.

The first T20 is scheduled for Newlands on January 9, with the second match at the Wanderers on January 11.

The West Indies will also tackle the Proteas in three Tests and five ODIs on the tour.
