Cape Town - Tickets for the Proteas’ upcoming home international season will go on sale on Monday, June 1, 2015 via www.ticketpro.co.za

Gold and Silver members of the Official Proteas Supporters Club will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets with a preferential phase running from June 1, 2015 to July 1, 2015.

Furthermore, Official Proteas Supporters Club members will also be entitled to discounts of up to 20% when purchasing tickets for all domestic and international matches.

“As we prepare for a bumper home season with New Zealand, England and Australia visiting our shores, we want to give our fans an early chance to buy tickets and avoid missing out on what promises to be top class cricket,” commented Cricket South Africa (CSA) Chief Executive, Haroon Lorgat.

“Last season we saw a 20% increase in stadium attendances for international matches and, on behalf of the Proteas and CSA, I would like to thank all our fans for their wonderful support.

“We will be launching our ‘Come and inspire #ProteaFire’ ticket campaign next week and we are excited that our fans will be joining us to watch our beloved team, The Proteas, take on New Zealand, England and Australia,” added Lorgat.

CSA have been working through the off-season to improve the ticketing process for fans.

For the 2015/16 season, fans will be able to:

· Purchase tickets online and print at home

· Use Official Proteas Supporters NFC Card to load tickets

· Use Official Proteas Supporters NFC Card to purchase food and drinks from vendors at selected stadiums

· Dedicated queues for Official Proteas Supporters Club members

Fans who are not currently members of the Official Proteas Supporters Club can still join by visiting www.cricket.co.za and following the links.

Ticket and fixture details for the Australian tour in March 2016 will be announced as soon as Cricket Australia have confirmed the proposed itinerary.
