Stumps called at Kingsmead due to wet outfield

Cape Town - Despite brilliant sunshine, stumps have been called on day three of the first Test match between the Proteas and New Zealand at Kingsmead in Durban. 

Heavy overnight rain left parts of the recently relayed outfield extremely muddy and dangerous and with little hope of it drying sufficiently during the course of the day, match officials decided to call of play for the day.

New Zealand are currently 15/2 after Dale Steyn removed Tom Latham and Martin Guptill.

South Africa scored 263 all out in their first innings.

Hashim Alma top scored with 53 while Temba Bavuma scored a well compiled 46. 

Neil Wager was the pick of the New Zealand bowlers, picking up 3/47 in his 15 overs while
