Cape Town - Faiek Davids, coach of Western Province, will be the stand-in assistant coach of the Cape Cobras for the final Sunfoil Series match of the first half of the season as well as the T20 Challenge.

This is due to the temporary absence of Ashwell Prince, whose TV commitments with SuperSport were finalised with the broadcaster before he signed to become part of the support cast for the head coach, Paul Adams.

Prince, a superb batsman for South Africa who blasted 11 centuries in 66 Tests, remains an important cog in the Cape Cobras-wheel.
