Melbourne - Australian captain Aaron Finch won the toss and chose to bowl in the second Twenty20 international against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.

Australia went into the match with a makeshift side, with star batsman Stephen Smith and opener David Warner both rested to prepare for the upcoming tour of New Zealand.

The home side named three international Twenty20 debutants, spinner Nathan Lyon, medium pacer Andrew Tye and fast bowler Scott Boland.

India named the same team which beat Australia by 37 runs in the first match of the three-game series in Adelaide on Tuesday.
