Cape Town - Proteas speedster Dale Steyn has posted a series of video clips of him bowling in the nets as he eyes a return to international cricket.
Steyn has been sidelined since November last year with a shoulder injury that threatened to end his career, but the 34-year-old has been hard at work since then and now looks to be on the verge of making a comeback.
Steyn posted a message on social media last week saying that the "wait is over", prompting speculation that he was ready.
The Proteas are next in action when they take on Bangladesh in two Test matches over September and October, and if Steyn plays in those he will likely overtake Shaun Pollock as South Africa's all-time leading wicket-taker in Test cricket.
Pollock has 421 wickets to Steyn's 417.
On Monday, Steyn took to Instagram to show us some footage of his recovery over the past few months.
