Proteas and Paarl Royals spinner Tabraiz Shamsi found an interesting way to celebrate a wicket, with a stump being used as a walking stick in their SA20 game against Durban's Super Giants on Tuesday.

Shamsi, who took 1/40, missed the Paarl Royals' 27-run away loss to the Super Giants with a hamstring strain he sustained in the seven-wicket win against the Joburg Super Kings.

In that game, he injured himself while celebrating the wicket of Kyle Verreynne and subsequently invalidated himself from the Durban trip on Sunday.

Shamsi had taken the wicket of fellow Protea teammate Wiaan Mulder when he pulled off the celebration as the Royals recorded a 10-run home win by avenging Sunday's loss.
