Cape Town - Police from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office have released the arrest report for Tiger Woods after he was detained on a DUI offence on Monday.
Woods, who was stopped in the early hours of the morning, said that alcohol was not involved in the incident and has apologised, stating that his problems stemmed from an unexpected reaction to the prescription drugs that he was taking.
"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions," Woods said in a statement.
"What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly."
"I would like to apologise with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans. I expect more from myself too," said Woods.
The arrest report records that Woods' speech was slurred, that he looked bleary-eyed and notes that he was unable to complete a number of tasks that police asked him to perform.
