World-renowned cricket administrator Dr Ali Bacher paid tribute to revered sports administrator and anti-apartheid activist Mluleki George, who died of Covid-19 on Monday.

News of George's death, at the age of 72, came on Wednesday, prompting an outpouring of tributes from those who knew and admired the former South African Rugby Football Union (SARFU, now SA Rugby) vice-president.
