SA's Edward Mothibi wins Comrades in just his second attempt!

Cape Town - Edward Mothibi has won the 2019 Comrades Marathon in just his second attempt at the ultra distance race.

Mothibi, who finished in fourth place in 2018, came home in 5:31:33 ahead of last year's winner Bongmusa Mthembu.

World 100km record holder Nao Kazami finished in third place in his first ever Comrades.
