Moolman-Pasio has not been released by her UCI team, Bigla.

On Sunday, Moolman-Pasio impressed in Belgium with a fourth-place finish at the Tour of Flanders. The South African achieved her best result yet in Ronde van Vlaanderen as Dutchwoman Anna van der Breggen soloed to victory.

Moolman-Pasio won bronze in the women's road race at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Meanwhile, the only sporting codes still missing are the men's and women's rugby sevens code who will join the rest of the team in the Athletes Village on Thursday.

Netball has two injury-enforced changes to their squad, with goal shooter Lenize Potgieter and goal shooter/goal attack Danelle Lochner both suffering ankle injuries.

The two have returned home for further treatment. Replacements for the two are Sigi Burger and Renske Stoltz, respectively.

On the track, sprinter Carina Horn has also withdrawn due to injury and will not be replaced.
