Team SA ready to roll in London

Cape Town - The South African team left for has arrived in London in their quest for glory at the IAAF Athletics World Championships, according to the SASCOC website.

The championships get under way on Friday, August 4 and continue until Sunday, August 13.

At the last IAAF World Championships in Beijing two years ago, the SA team won three medals - 400m gold by Wayde van Niekerk and two bronze medals by Anaso Jobodwana (200m) and Sunette Viljoen (bronze).

A 27-strong team will do duty in London.
